We are proud to be the only restaurant in Lewes to be featured in the Michelin Guide over the last few years and most recently in the 2012 edition.
Our 72 seat restaurant is open from 10am Monday to Friday serving morning coffees and cakes, lunch, afternoon cream tea's and dinner. On Saturday and Sunday we offer a traditionally British breakfast menu. Join us on Sunday afternoons for our locally sourced home-made traditional roasts.
Our restaurant menus focus on classic British favourites with a modern twist. We also have daily specials that allow us to take best advantage of seasonality and the best produce our local producers can offer. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual so that you can enjoy the good food and company of friends and family.
Our outside terrace offers the perfect setting for al fresco drinking and dining.
Whether it’s a lazy afternoon with a glass or two of Sussex sparkling or a delicious and hearty meal, our spacious and comfortable terrace is the ideal location for all.
