We are going a bit crazy for Christmas in Canterbury this year. Following the runaway success of our paws-itively magical Santa Paws events, Santa is coming back to Real Eating Co for breakfast (and he’s inviting you to join him for a fabulous festive morning)!

Join us in Whitefriars Square for 90 minutes of festivities across every Saturday and Sunday in December (including Sunday November 30th). For £15 per child and £8 per adult, fuel up little ones with a children’s breakfast (featuring pancakes, yogurt, Christmas biscuits and more), a hot drink and pastry/cake for the adults, fun-filled Christmas-themed activities, and a special meet-and-greet with Santa himself alongside his mischievous elves.

Today we are beyond excited to bring you our 2024 Real Eating Co Christmas treats. We’ve had so much fun experimenting in our kitchen and we’re very pleased to bring you our innovative festive fusion.

We’ve taken the classic much loved British mince pie and married it with the finest French croissant recipe – in turn creating our new, highly delicious mince pie croissant.

The buttery deliciousness of the croissant meets the rich, spiced filling of the traditional mince pie (from the classically British Robertsons) and a layer of almond butter from our friends at @pipandnut forming a warming, filling, time-of-the-year treat that works at any hour of the day.

We’re not like other high street coffee shop chains. We make and bake a lot of what you see on our counters and in our fridges ourselves. We’re committed to using good quality ingredients and making and baking FRESH on site every day. Not the easiest way to make a good profit these days but it’s what we do 😉

AND, we’re keeping our prices in check. How do we do this as an independent business you may ask? Well, we don’t have big overheads (a.k.a big offices and lots of head office staff) and we have a tight-knit team who care very much about what they do and work hard. We’re building a business for the long-term (we’ve been around 20yrs now) slowly but surely, step by step 💪
